What are Spider veins?

Spider veins, also known as telangiectasias, are small, dilated blood vessels that can occur near the surface of the skin, measuring between 0.5 and 1 millimeter in diameter. They often appear as a central area with outward radiations resembling the legs of a spider, hence the name. Spider veins are usually red, blue, or purple, and may appear in clusters that resemble spider webs or tree branches. They typically occur on the legs or face, just under the skin, and can form anywhere. Spider veins are typically harmless.

How to remove Spider vein?

At Elegancy Beauty bar in Ajax, we offer a medical laser device (Elite+ Cynosure), to treat spider vein.

The Elite+ Cynosure laser emits controlled pulses of light that target and heat the blood vessels, causing them to coagulate and shrink. Over time, the body gradually absorbs the treated blood vessels, resulting in the fading and disappearance of spider veins.

It’s important to note that the specific treatment protocols and effectiveness may vary depending on the severity and location of the spider veins, as well as individual factors. Therefore, it is recommended to consult with our certify laser technician who can properly assess your condition and determine the most appropriate treatment plan using the Elite+ Cynosure.
